Furniture and Thing's exclusive 5-year limited warranty is one of the best in the business. Most furniture retailers provide no warranty beyond the manufacturers, which generally are only one year. Any purchase at Furniture and Things, Inc. of new and current model furniture is backed by the best warranty available in home furnishings.


Furniture & Things, Inc. warrants to the original customer all non-upholstered indoor furnishings and indoor accessories to be free from manufacture defect in workmanship and material for a period of five (5) years following the date of purchase. This warranty does not include normal humidity, sunlight, neglect, alteration, abuse or misuse. This warranty does not cover any wood finishes. Floor samples, closeouts, As-Is, tent-sale, one-of-a-kind and clearance items are excluded from above warranty.

Upholstery products carry lifetime warranty on frames and springs. Fabrics, cushions and seams carry a one (1) year warranty against defects unless stated otherwise by the manufacturer. Some settling or pilling of fabric and cushions may occur, as this is normal wear. The Fabric warranty is limited to the manufactureríwarranty and discretion.

Motion furniture carries a lifetime warranty on frames, springs, and moving parts. Labor for installation of new parts is not covered.

Bedding - All bedding sets carry different warranties. See individual warranty information for bedding set purchased.

All outdoor merchandise carries a one (1) year Furniture & Things, Inc. and manufacture's warranty on defects. Although some normal weathering may occur, some maintenance may be required to maintain finishes or preserve the condition of the item. Some items may need to be stored indoors during winter.

Should service under this warranty be necessary, the purchaser may return the product to Furniture & Things, Inc. or Furniture & Things, Inc. can pick the item up at the current delivery rate. (See stores for details).

Repairs and replacement under this limited warranty will be made by Furniture & Things, Inc. or anyone Furniture & Things, Inc. authorizes. Any cost or repair charges not covered by the manufacturer warranty are the customeríresponsibility.

The customer must have and show the original receipt in order for service work to apply.

Liability for consequential property or commercial damage is excluded by the warranty. This is a limited warranty.

Furniture & Things, Inc. has a seven (7) day return policy for regular in-stock priced items. All returns must include the original receipt and original packaging. All items returned must be clean and free from odors and other forms of damage. Furniture & Things, Inc. has the right to use discretion in accepting returns.

All closeouts, As-Is, tent-sale, one-of-a-kind and clearance sale items are final and cannot be returned.

All refunds are subject to a 20% restocking fee per item, plus a return delivery fee (if necessary). Furniture & Things, Inc. may also deduct from the refunds or original sale price for returned items that need to be cleaned, sanitized, deluxe and prepared for resale.

Special order sales are final. Original customer agrees with the frame/s, fabric/s, and stain color/s of the item ordered as written. Original customer understands special orders are non-refundable, and special orders may take 10 to 14 weeks.

Transportation - If you transport your own merchandise, you are responsible for any damage acquired. Furniture & Things, Inc. will help load and tie down the merchandise per customer request. Furniture & Things, Inc. will not be liable for damages towards item/s sold, or consequential property during customeríown transport.

Lay-a-way - Lay-a-ways require 25% deposit, with 5% of the balance owed as a monthly payment to keep lay-a-way active. Lay-a-ways should be closed within ninety (90) days. Closeout, As-Is, tent-sale, one-of-a-kind and clearance end sale items are not available for lay-a-way. Furniture & Things, Inc. retains the right to resell or restock lay-a-way items after the 90-day period if items are not picked up by customer, delivered by Furniture & Things, Inc. or delivered by a third party freight company.

Furniture & Things, Inc. offers the service to deliver items sold by Furniture & Things, Inc. to the customeríproperty. If a customer requests additional items not delivered to be moved for customeríconvenience, Furniture & Things, Inc. will not be liable for possible damages made towards items moved or consequential property.

If you wish to pick up the merchandise please set a dock appointment with the store from which you bought the merchandise.

Please call in advanced to schedule a dock appointment at on eof the following locations: Elk River store (763-441-7011), Anoka store (763-427-4103), Coon Rapids store (763-755-4149), or the Distribution Center (763-441-6280).

Dock appointment may occur at the Distribution Center seven days a week between 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Dock appointment may occur at the stores Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Special Arrangements can be made with management regarding docking for customer pick-up.

All customer pick-ups at the store must be made within the week sold. Merchandise not picked up within the week sold will be sent back to the Distribution Center.

Once an item is purchased, Furniture & Things, Inc. cannot be responsible for the close-out or discontinuation of any product, product style or model from the manufacturer, or the change in dye lot or discontinuation of fabric.

Furniture & Things, Inc. reserves the right to modify all policies stated above without notice.

All casters are for shipping purposes only, we recommend that casters be removed while in-house. Furniture & Things, Inc. is not liable for potential accidents caused by leaving casters on after purchase.
